Ulster Camogie Course on LGBTQIA+ Awareness

We at Ulster Camogie are excited to invite your County executive/Local club to participate in the 2025 LGBTQIA+ Awareness Training—a valuable opportunity to enhance inclusivity and understanding within your club and teams.

To ensure the success of this initiative, we request that each club has at least one member in attendance. This training is a crucial step toward fostering a more inclusive and welcoming sporting environment for all, and club leadership plays a key role in driving positive change.

Training Details:

📍 March 11th – Armagh City Hotel.

📍 March 20th – Dunsilly Hotel, Antrim

Hot food served at 6:00 PM | Training runs from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM
💷 Cost: £5 per participant
📅 Registration closes one week before each session (Booking available via Universe)

The session will be hosted by Claire Thompson (EDI Office, Ulster Camogie) and delivered by Jo McParland (Education & Training Manager, Cara-Friend). (You only need to attend one of these sessions)We believe this training is an essential step toward making our clubs more inclusive, supportive, and welcoming for LGBTQIA+ members, ensuring that everyone feels safe and valued in our sport and communities.
