We have reached a new low in Antrim camogie by not fielding in our National League games, we had many difficult days in Antrim camogie especially when the troubles were at their height, the only time I can remember the county not fielding was to Cork in the Senior Championship many years ago and it was in Cork.  The year we won the Senior All Ireland in 1979 they travelled to Galway for the first round game with 13 players(game was 12 a side).  It is very sad in this modern age that we cant field in our National League games.  Great to see good turn outs for under 18, and young development squads - hopefully this will be the turning point in Antrim camogie when these young players will aspire to play for the county Senior team
Marie, A lot of people feel that many of these u 18 minor stars are well able and should be playing already for the senior team.take a look at how young some of the players are in Division one of the National league .

Congratulations to both St Killian's and to CPC on their wins in Ulster Colleges' finals over the last couple of days.
Great to see the work done in the clubs being built on in the schools and that the girls are gaining so much experience at such a high level.
Good luck to both schools in the All-Ireland semi-finals in February.
