4.00pm Senior Championship Final Ballycastle V Loughgiel

County Antrim Junior champions Loughgiel Shamrocks will play Athleague from County Roscommon in the AIB All-Ireland Junior Semi-Final on Sunday 8th November at O'Connell Park in Drumlane Co. Cavan. Athleague who defeated Four Roads in their own County final, will be a hard test for the North Antrim girls as no less than eleven of their camógs represented Roscommon in September's All-Ireland Premier Junior final at Croke Park against Laois which they lost by 1-06 to 2-12. They are a very young side noted for their fitness who have good coaching support from their club hurlers. Nevertheless the same can be said about the Shamrocks have had a great season as a club and their junior side boasts outstanding talent and despite only beating Cavan Champions Lacken by a single point in the Ulster Junior Championship Final a few weeks ago at Ballymacnab in County Armagh ,the Shamrocks have high hopes of going all the way in this competition. Ádh mór ar na seamróga!
